Hi, I'm Heather! The heart behind Captured by Hart.
I've always been drawn to the art of storytelling. Long before I picked up a camera, I found my passion for capturing emotion through theatre. Performing taught me the power of a single moment and how those moments can create lasting memories. That love for storytelling eventually led me to photography, where I get to preserve those fleeting moments and turn them into something you can hold onto forever.
With a background in marketing and brand storytelling, I approach every session with an eye for connection, creativity, and intentional details. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Marketing and my Master of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management, experiences that strengthened my passion for creating meaningful experiences and understanding what makes each story unique.
Whether I'm capturing a wedding day, an engagement, a graduation, or any chapter of your story, my goal is always the same: to create photos that feel authentic, timeless, and true to you. Once you submit an inquiry, I'll reach out to learn more about your vision, answer any questions, and confirm availability. From there, I'll send over your proposal, contract, and retainer information. Once everything is complete, your session is officially reserved!

Absolutely! You don't need any modeling experience to have beautiful photos. I'll guide you through your session with natural prompts and gentle direction while also leaving room for genuine moments to unfold. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, confident, and like yourself.

Every gallery is carefully edited by hand to ensure your images are polished and timeless. Delivery times vary depending on the type of session, but I can guarantee you'll receive a selection of sneak peeks within 24 hours + your full gallery within 6 to 8 weeks.
